Welcome to the Journal Guide

The Journal Guide gives you peace of mind when selecting journals, so you don’t have to worry about article processing charges (APCs) or non-compliance with your funder’s policies. If you are a researcher from London South Bank University you can look up your favorite journals or search and filter to get to a selection of journals that match your research. Select a funder to see whether the journals are compliant or not, and check the filter ‘Journals with agreements’ to limit the list to journals for which the APCs are fully or partially waived.

Chinese Journal of Catalysis

ISSN: 0253-9837eISSN: 1872-2067
The Chinese Journal of Catalysis journal is devoted to the publication of original research communications, articles, and reviews on heterogeneous catalysis, homogeneous catalysis, biocatalysis, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, surface chemistry, and chemical kinetics relating to catalysis. The aim of the journal is to promote scientific exchanges between scientists, institutions, and enterprises involving researches and applications of catalysis in China and abroad.

The scope of the Chinese Journal of Catalysis includes:

• New trends in heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis in relation to energy, environment, petroleum chemicals and fine chemicals;
• Scientific bases for the preparation and activation of catalysts of commercial interest or that are representative models;
• Scientific methods for the characterization of heterogeneous catalysts, especially methods for in situ characterization;
• New heterogeneous and homogeneous catalytic reactions of potential practical interest in environment, energy, and fine chemicals applications;
• Relationship between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis;
• Theoretical studies on the structure and reactivity of catalysts.

The journal also accepts contributions dealing with other issues related to catalysis, such as photo-catalysis, bio-catalysis, surface science and chemical kinetics.

Abstracted and Indexed
The journal is abstracted and indexed by many databases, including Chemical Abstracts(USA), Science Citation Index-Expanded (USA), Chemistry Citation Index (USA), CurrentContents/Engineering, Computing and Technology (USA), Catalysts and Catalysed Reactions(UK), Methods in Organic Synthesis (UK), Natural Product Updates (UK), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (USA), Japan Information Center of Science and Technology (Japan), Abstract Journals(Russia), and most of the important indexing systems in China.

Awarded and highly cited
The journal was awarded the First Class Prize for Excellent Periodicals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001 and the Second Class Prize in the National Journal Awards in 2005. In recent years, the journal has consistently been ranked in the top ten Chinese chemical journals as measured by the impact factor and total citations.

The Chinese Journal of Communication (CJoC) is a scholarly publication aimed at elevating Chinese communication studies along theoretical, empirical, and methodological dimensions, while contributing to the understanding of media, information, and communication phenomena around the world. This fully refereed journal is an important international platform for students and scholars in Chinese communication studies to exchange ideas and research results, both with each other and globally. Interdisciplinary in scope, it examines subjects in all Chinese societies in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, and the global Chinese diaspora, which, in total, account for a quarter of humanity. The CJoC welcomes scholarly works using social scientific or humanistic approaches on such topics as mass communication, journalism studies, telecommunications, rhetoric, cultural studies, media effects, new communication technologies, organizational communication, interpersonal communication, advertising and public relations, political communication, communications law and policy, and so on. Articles employing historical and comparative analysis focused on traditional Chinese culture as well as contemporary processes such as globalization, deregulation, and democratization are also welcome. In addition to research articles, CJoC includes reviews of the field and subfields in Chinese communication studies as well as key issues in the Chinese media industry including film, Internet, mobile communication, creative industry, to mention just a few.
