The Journal of Neuroscience Research publishes novel research results that will advance our understanding of the development, functions and diseases of the nervous system, using molecular, cellular, and systems approaches. JNR features full-length papers, mini-reviews and commentaries. All new manuscripts and correspondence regarding editorial matters should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Jean de Vellis.
Founded in 1944, the AANS’s flagship journal is recognized throughout the world by neurosurgeons and related medical specialists for its authoritative and cutting-edge clinical and laboratory research articles, case reports, technical notes, review articles, and more. This rapid-publication, open-access, online-only journal offers reports of single cases and small case series, with a focus on the lesson that the observation or experience provides to the reader. Journal of Neurosurgery: Case Lessons commenced publication in January 2021.
First published in 1999 as a quarterly supplement to the Journal of Neurosurgery, JNS: Spine quickly grew in volume and frequency, and became an independent monthly journal in 2004. JNS: Spine provides the latest techniques and research findings in the rapidly advancing area of spine surgery.
This journal keeps practitioners abreast of advances in neurosurgical anesthesiology that directly impact on current clinical practice or will affect clinical practice in the future--including new drugs, new equipment, and new procedures. Website: www.jnsa.com.
The Journal of Neurotherapy: Investigations in Neuromodulation, Neurofeedback and Applied Neuroscience provides an integrated, multidisciplinary perspective on clinically relevant research, treatment, and public policy for neuromodulation techniques and applied neuroscience. The Journal reviews important findings in these fields with a focus on electroencephalography (EEG), neurofeedback, quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG), repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) with a focus on treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders. The Journal of Neurotherapy: Investigations in Neuromodulation, Neurofeedback and Applied Neuroscience provides relevant findings from the diversity of disciplines involved in the study of neuromodulation and applied neuroscience and offers interpretive commentary to clarify this information. The only magazine-sized journal in this area that prints in color, the journal draws from expertise inside and outside of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR) to deliver material which integrates the diverse aspects of the field.
Journal of Neurotrauma publishes peer-reviewed articles on the latest advances in both the clinical and laboratory investigation of traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. Combining insights on both clinical and laboratory studies, the Journal focuses on the basic pathobiology of injury to the central nervous system, while considering preclinical and clinical trials targeted at improving both the early management and long-term care and recovery of traumatically injured patients.
