Cardiovascular Toxicology is the only journal dedicated to publishing contemporary issues, timely reviews, and experimental and clinical data on the molecular therapy of cardiovascular disease. CT publishes papers that will elucidate the effects, molecular mechanisms, and signaling pathways of environmental toxicants on the cardiovascular system. Also covered are the detrimental effects of new cardiovascular drugs, and cardiovascular effects of non-cardiovascular drugs, anti-cancer chemotherapy, and gene therapy. In addition, Cardiovascular Toxicology reports safety and toxicological data on new cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular drugs. This is a unique journal in which these data can be scrutinized separately from efficacy.

Cell Biology and Toxicology is an international journal which publishes papers of high scientific standard in the areas of cell biology, genetic, molecular and cellular toxicology.The journal includes studies of subcellular and cellular systems derived from both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell types and animal studies.The journal presents scientific reports dealing with the basic biology and with the physiological, pharmacological, and toxic response of cellular systems. Studies of toxic effects may include, but are not limited to, cytotoxicity, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, and teratogenicity. The major focus of the journal is the mechanisms of action of toxic compounds.Cell Biology and Toxicology publishes papers describing original research results, reviews, announcements of scientific meetings or courses, and availability of funding, fellowships, and scholarships. 

CBI discourages papers that are descriptive in nature and that do not address toxicological mechanisms (e.g., reports of toxicological effects following chemical exposure in absence of mechanistic experiments). CBI also discourages papers reporting on toxicological effects from materials, such as plant extracts or herbal medicines, that have not been chemically characterized.

Dose-Response is a quarterly peer-reviewed electronic journal dedicated to the publication of original findings on the occurrence of dose-response relationships across a broad range of biological disciplines including physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, toxicology, radiation biology, pharmacology, medicine, neuroscience, immunology, developmental biology, ecology, experimental psychology, plant biology, and environmental and related sciences. In addition to descriptive experimental findings of dose-responses, particular interest will focus on experimental evidence providing mechanistic understanding of nonlinear dose-response relationships. The journal also welcomes the submission of biologically motivated statistical modeling of dose-response relationships. While the emphasis of the journal is on the publication of experimental findings, population-based epidemiological studies relating to nonlinearity are encouraged. Dose-Response encourages the submission of mini-reviews on topics at the forefront of research interest, and the journal is particularly interested in receiving manuscripts that apply the concept of nonlinearity to current developments in drug and chemical testing procedures as well as in environmental, occupational and medical risk assessment.

Drug Safety is the official journal of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance. The journal includes:

Drug and Alcohol Dependence is an international journal devoted to publishing original research, scholarly reviews, commentaries, and policy analyses in the area of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and dependence. Articles range from studies of the chemistry of substances of abuse, their actions at molecular and cellular sites, in vitro and in vivo investigations of their biochemical, pharmacological and behavioural actions, laboratory-based and clinical research in humans, substance abuse treatment and prevention research, and studies employing methods from epidemiology, sociology, and economics.The rationale for this extensive coverage is the conviction that drug, alcohol and tobacco use/dependence cannot be understood in their entirety from a single perspective and that without an understanding of other areas of research, studies by individual investigators may be limited. Ecotoxicology is an international journal devoted to presenting fundamental research on the effects of toxic chemicals on populations, communities and terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecosystems. It elucidates mechanisms and processes whereby chemicals exert their effects on ecosystems, and examines the impact caused at the population or community level. The journal is not restricted with respect to taxon or biome, presenting papers that indicate possible new approaches to regulation and control of toxic chemicals and that formulate ways of conserving threatened species. The journal includes not only original research papers but technical notes and review articles, both invited and submitted. A strong, broadly based editorial board ensures as wide an international coverage as possible.
