Langenbeck's Archives of Surgery publishes the best results in the field of clinical surgery and basic surgical research. The focus is on the highest level of clinical research and clinically relevant basic research. Published exclusively in English, the journal offers an international discussion forum for controlled results of clinical surgery. Most contributions are original articles that report clinical data from visceral, vascular and thoracic surgery, as well as traumatology and transplantation surgery. Endocrine surgery and proctology are also covered. Langenbeck's Archives of Surgery is the organ of the Congresses of the German Society of Surgery (GSS), and the official journal of a number of other professional and scholary societies.

Lasers in Medical Science has established itself as the leading international journal in the rapidly expanding field of medical applications of lasers and light. It provides a forum for the publication of papers on the technical, experimental and clinical aspects of the use of medical lasers, including lasers in surgery, endoscopy, angioplasty, hyperthermia of tumours, and photodynamic therapy.In addition, the journal publishes articles on the medical application of new lasers, light delivery systems, sensors to monitor laser effects, basic laser-tissue interactions and the modelling of laser-tissue interactions. The journal also presents articles relating to the use of non-laser light-tissue interactions.   

Lasers in Surgery and Medicine publishes the highest quality research and clinical manuscripts in areas relating to the use of lasers in medicine and biology. The journal publishes basic and clinical studies on the therapeutic and diagnostic use of lasers in all the surgical and medical specialties. Contributions regarding clinical trials, new therapeutic techniques or instrumentation, laser biophysics and bioengineering, photobiology and photochemistry, outcomes research, cost-effectiveness, and other aspects of biomedicine are welcome. Since the first application of liver transplantation in a clinical situation was reported more than twenty years ago, there has been a great deal of growth in this field and more is anticipated. Zielsetzung der Zeitschrift
Monatsschrift Kinderheilkunde ist ein international angesehenes Publikationsorgan. Die Zeitschrift bietet aktuelle Fortbildung für alle niedergelassenen und in der Klinik tätigen Pädiater. Musculoskeletal Surgery – Formerly La Chirurgia degli Organi di Movimento, founded in 1917 at the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, is a peer-reviewed journal published three times a year. The journal provides up-to-date information to clinicians and scientists through the publication of original papers, reviews, case reports, and brief communications dealing with the pathogenesis and treatment of orthopaedic conditions. La revue Médecine et Chirurgie du Pied est née en 1984 sous l'impulsion du Dr Simon Braun qui en fut le rédacteur en chef jusqu'en 1997.
