"Biomedicine Hub is an interdisciplinary Open Access journal: a “hub” for researchers, clinicians, and public health professionals across biomedical disciplines to share research findings, ideas, theories, experimental results, and clinical experience.
Biomedicine Hub facilitates the exchange of knowledge between disciplines, with a focus on translational science and emerging interdisciplinary topics. It encourages international collaborations and supports early-career researchers. By accepting Registered Reports in addition to classic article types, early feedback on research work is also guaranteed.
Biomedicine Hub publishes all relevant articles of sound ethical and scientific quality regardless of their novelty or expected impact. Contributions from a wide range of biomedical fields are welcome."
Created in 2011, as a spin-off from Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, this journal has an International Editorial Board of researchers and physicians working in oncology, cardiology, neurodegenerative diseases, nutritional pathologies and all aspects of disease pathologies affecting children and the ever-growing number of the elderly throughout the world. This included effects of nutritional and psychological conditions. The pathology of degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease are reported, plus other diseases of children and elderly, such as diabetes. Original articles, review articles, thematic dossiers and clinical reports are published.
An international multidisciplinary journal with two objectives:- to create an interface between clinical and laboratory responses to drugs and to investigate critical approaches to different pathologies with regard to biological and clinical data,- to provide a niche for authors whose work is not directly defined by the review criteria of existing journals.Biomedicine and pharmacotherapy is one of the few journals at the forefront of fundamental and technical science, biological and medical disciplines, therapeutics and pathological description. General fields of interest include molecular and cell biology, genetic disease, immunology and immunoregulation and chemotherapy. Special emphasis is placed on studies of specific topics such as differentiation, pharmacology and toxicology, preclinical and clinical pharmacology, the effects of drugs on cell structural and functional elements, the mechanism of gene regulation in normal and pathological cells, the role of viruses and parasites and the therapy of the diseases they induce. Brief reports of meetings, symposia and conferences will also be considered for publication as well as announcements of scientific meetings or academic courses.

Published on behalf of the International Biometric Society, Biometrics emphasizes the role of statistics and mathematics in the biosciences. Its objectives are to promote and extend the use of statistical and mathematical methods in the principal disciplines of biosciences by reporting on the development and application of these methods. A centerpiece of most Biometrics articles is scientific application that sets scientific or policy objectives, motivates methods development, and demonstrates the operations of new methods.

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry provides an international forum for the publication of full original research papers and critical reviews on molecular interactions in key biological targets such as receptors, channels, enzymes, nucleotides, lipids and saccharides. The aim of the journal is to promote a better understanding at the molecular level of life processes, and living organisms, as well as the interaction of these with chemical agents. A special feature will be that colour illustrations will be reproduced at no charge to the author, provided that the Editor agrees that colour is essential to the information content of the illustration in question.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Please click here for more information on our author services. Please see our Guide for Authors for information on article submission. Biopharmaceutics & Drug Dispositionpublishes original review articles, short communications, and reports in biopharmaceutics, drug disposition, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, especially those that have a direct relation to the drug discovery/development and the therapeutic use of drugs. These includes: * animal and human pharmacological studies that focus on therapeutic response. pharmacodynamics, and toxicity related to plasma and tissue concentrations of drugs and their metabolites, * in vitro and in vivo drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, transport, and excretion studies that facilitate investigations related to the use of drugs in man * studies on membrane transport and enzymes, including their regulation and the impact of pharmacogenomics on drug absorption and disposition, * simulation and modeling in drug discovery and development * theoretical treatises * includes themed issues and reviews and exclude manuscripts on * bioavailability studies reporting only on simple PK parameters such as Cmax, tmax and t1/2 without mechanistic interpretation * analytical methods Reports must contain current citation of the literature and convey new information. Biopharmaceutics & Drug Disposition is one of the top accessed and cited journals in the field, as a result of the high quality papers published in the journal, and is marketed by Wiley Blackwell across the world.
Biopolymers publishes original research papers and review articles in the general area of macromolecular structure and function, as well as biologically relevant model systems. Manuscripts should report on studies that examine biological macromolecules (naturally occurring and designed), their interactions, reactions, and macromolecular assemblies at structural, chemical, and physical levels. The Journal strives to publish high-impact papers that will significantly enhance our understanding of the chemistry and/or the biology of the systems under investigation. Reports describing techniques that could be applied to the study of biological macromolecules will be considered for publication only if they will have broad utility to the biochemical and biophysical research community. Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
Biopreservation and Biobanking is the first journal to provide a unifying forum for researchers from academia, government, and industry in which rapid, authoritative, peer-reviewed communication of recent advances is provided in the fast-emerging field of biospecimen procurement, processing, preservation, and banking. The Journal publishes a diversity of articles focusing on current issues and problems related to the processing of macromolecules, cells, and tissues.
The journal Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering is an international peer-reviewed forum for discussion between engineering and biological science to find efficient solutions in the development and improvement of bioprocesses. The journal focuses attention on multidisciplinary approaches for integrative bioprocess design. Coverage includes rational manipulation of biosystems through metabolic engineering techniques to provide new biocatalysts. The journal examines model-based design of bioprocesses, such as up-stream processing, bioreactor operation and downstream processing, leading to new and sustainable production processes. The journal offers new approaches for design of cellular systems, taking into account the environment and constraints of technical production processes, integration of recombinant technology and process design, as well as bioinformatics and process systems engineering. Biorheology is an international interdisciplinary journal that publishes research on the deformation and flow properties of biological systems or materials. It is the aim of the editors and publishers of Biorheology to bring together contributions from those working in various fields of biorheological research from all over the world. Members of the editorial board and the advisory board work in different areas of biorheology in several countries where appreciable research activity in this field is being carried out.The aim of biorheological research is to determine and characterize the dynamics of physiological processes at all levels of organization. Manuscripts should report original theoretical and/or experimental research promoting the scientific and technological advances in a broad field that ranges from the rheology of macromolecules and macromolecular arrays to cell, tissue and organ rheology. In all these areas, the interrelationships of rheological properties of the systems or materials investigated and their structural and functional aspects are stressed. The scope of papers solicited by Biorheology extends to systems at different levels of organization that have never been studied before, or, if studied previously, have either never been analyzed in terms of their rheological properties or have not been studied from the point of view of the rheological matching between their structural and functional properties. This biorheological approach applies in particular to molecular studies where changes of physical properties and conformation are investigated without reference to how the process actually takes place, how the forces generated are matched to the properties of the structures and environment concerned, proper time scales, or what structures or strength of structures are required.Biorheology invites papers in which such 'molecular biorheological' aspects, whether in animal or plant systems, are examined and discussed. While we emphasize the biorheology of physiological function in organs and systems, the biorheology of disease is of equal interest. Biorheological analyses of pathological processes and their clinical implications are encouraged, including basic clinical research on hemodynamics and hemorheology.
