Cirugía Española, es el Órgano Oficial de la Asociación Española de Cirujanos, sociedad científica que engloba a la mayoría de cirujanos generales españoles y de diferentes subespecialidades de la cirugía.
La revista es el mejor exponente del desarrollo técnico y conceptual de la cirugía española, de tal manera, que en sus páginas se dedica una creciente atención a los aspectos biológicos y clínicos de la patología quirúrgica, trascendiendo así al acto operatorio que en constituía el centro de atención principal de esta área de la medicina.
Los contenidos de la revista se estructura en las secciones de Originales, Revisiones, Cartas Científicas, Imagen del Mes y Cartas al director, y los artículos se seleccionan y publican tras un riguroso análisis, siguiendo los estándares internacionalmente aceptados. Cirugía Española cuenta desde 2008 con una versión en inglés.

Climacteric
Climacteric – publishes international, original, peer-reviewed research on all aspects of aging in men and women, especially during the menopause and climacteric. The content of the journal covers the whole range of subject areas relevant to climacteric studies and adult women’s health and medicine, including underlying endocrinological changes, treatment of the symptoms of the menopause and other age-related changes, hormone replacement therapies, alternative therapies, effective life-style modifications, non-hormonal midlife changes, and the counselling and education of perimenopausal and postmenopausal patients. In addition, the journal features regular invited expert editorials, a correspondence section and details of forthcoming international meetings on climacteric-related topics. All material is subject to peer review by members of the editorial board, and a specialist reviewer where indicated.

Clinica Chimica Acta
The objective of the journal is to publish novel information leading to a better understanding of biological mechanisms of human diseases, their prevention, diagnosis, and patient management. Reports of an applied clinical character are also welcome. Papers concerned with normal metabolic processes or with constituents of normal cells or body fluids, such as reports of experimental or clinical studies in animals, are only considered when they are clearly and directly relevant to human disease. Evaluation of commercial products have a low priority for publication, unless they are novel or represent a technological breakthrough. Studies dealing with effects of drugs and natural products and studies dealing with the redox status in various diseases are not within the journal's scope. Development and evaluation of novel analytical methodologies where applicable to diagnostic clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine, including point-of-care testing, and topics on laboratory management and informatics will also be considered.

Clinical & Experimental Immunology is a top ranking, international journal publishing biologically significant studies that have clinical relevance. The Journal is focused on Translational Immunology and is amongst the foremost journals in this field, attracting high-quality papers from all parts of the world. Translation is viewed as a process of applying ideas, insights and discoveries generated through basic scientific studies to the treatment, prevention or diagnosis of human disease. Journal articles cover clinical studies in patients receiving immune-based therapies, in relation to autoimmunity, primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, complement disorders and allergies. The Journal also reports investigations on the pathogenesis of rheumatic, renal and endocrine disorders, as well as infectious diseases, malignancy and transplantation. Basic immunology studies that inform clinical practice or understanding of disease mechanisms are also welcomed, as are studies in non-human model systems and reports on the physiological mechanisms of immunity. In addition to research reports, the Journal publishes highly cited review, perspective and hypothesis articles. These are usually commissioned and published as Translational Mini-Review series, but suggestions to the Editor-in-Chief of topics for such series, or titles for one-off review articles are welcome. Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology
Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology is the official journal of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. The journal primarily publishes peer-reviewed original research and reviews dealing with all aspects of clinical practice and research in ophthalmology and vision science. Short articles are also welcomed for publication under the headings 'Clinicopathological Report', 'Clinical and Surgical Techniques', 'History of Ophthalmology' and 'Letters to the Editor'. Manuscripts dealing with 'Ophthalmic Hypothesis', and 'Developing World Ophthalmology' are encouraged. Reports of interesting and original cases may be published as 'Photographic Essays' or 'Clinical Case Notes' in Letters to the Editor. The acceptance criteria for all papers are the quality, originality and significance of the research. Except where otherwise stated, manuscripts are peer reviewed by two anonymous reviewers, a Section Editor and the Editor in an average time of 2.5 months. The average time from original submission to publication, for manuscripts that are accepted, is 10 months. The Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse any material for publication and advises that authors should retain copies of submitted manuscripts, figures and correspondence, as material cannot be returned. Final acceptance or rejection rests with the Editorial Board.
Clinical & Translational Metabolism
Each issue of Clinical Reviews in Bone and Mineral Metabolism is devoted to a single theme aimed at integrating new information, both basic and clinical science, into the context of clinical practice. For each review article, there is an interval of 6-9 months between invitation to authors and publication.
