Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions is an international journal covering the broad field of cardiovascular diseases. Subject material includes basic and clinical information that is derived from or related to invasive and interventional coronary or peripheral vascular techniques. The journal focuses on material that will be of immediate practical value to physicians providing patient care in the clinical laboratory setting. To accomplish this, the journal publishes Preliminary Reports and Work In Progress articles that complement the traditional Original Studies, Case Reports, and Comprehensive Reviews. Perspective and insight concerning controversial subjects and evolving technologies are provided regularly through Editorial Commentaries furnished by members of the Editorial Board and other experts. Articles are subject to double-blind peer review and complete editorial evaluation prior to any decision regarding acceptability.
Cell Biochemistry and Function is a print and online journal that publishes original research articles and reviews on the mechanisms whereby molecular and biochemical processes control cellular activity with a particular emphasis on the integration of molecular and cell biology, biochemistry and physiology in the regulation of tissue function in health and disease. The primary remit of the journal is on mammalian biology both in vivo and in vitro but studies of cells in situ are especially encouraged. Observational and pathological studies will be considered providing they include a rational discussion of the possible molecular and biochemical mechanisms behind them and the immediate impact of these observations to our understanding of mammalian biology. Cell Biochemistry and Biophysics fosters progress in comprehending the nature of the biochemical and biophysical mechanisms underlying the control of cellular physiological homeostasis and the consequences of its perturbation. Reports span the disciplines of modern biochemistry and chemistry, biophysics and cell physiology, physics and engineering, molecular and structural biology and the medical sciences. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between molecular structure and the nature of the specific property/function under investigation. CBB publishes articles describing the quantitative utilization of and innovative developments in: genetic and biomolecular engineering; computer analysis of tissues, cells, cell networks, organelles, and molecular/macromolecular assemblies; research in and development of photometric, spectroscopic, microscopic, mechanical, and electrical methodologies/techniques in analytical cytology and cytometry, as well as innovation in instrument design.

Cell Transplantation publishes original, peer-reviewed research and review articles on the subject of cell transplantation and its application to human diseases. To ensure high-quality contributions from all areas of transplantation, separate section editors and editorial boards have been established. Articles deal with a wide range of topics including physiological, medical, preclinical, tissue engineering, and device-oriented aspects of transplantation of nervous system, endocrine, growth factor-secreting, bone marrow, epithelial, endothelial, and genetically engineered cells, among others. Basic clinical studies and immunological research papers are also featured. To provide complete coverage of this revolutionary field, Cell Transplantation will report on relevant technological advances, and ethical and regulatory considerations of cell transplants. Cell Transplantation is now an Open Access journal starting with volume 18 in 2009, and therefore there will be an inexpensive publication charge, which is dependent on the number of pages, in addition to the charge for color figures. This will allow work to be disseminated to a wider audience and also entitle the corresponding author to a free PDF, as well as prepublication of an unedited version of the manuscript.
Cell and Tissue Banking provides a forum for disseminating information to scientists and clinicians involved in the banking and transplantation of cells and tissues. Cell and Tissue Banking is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers in such areas as quality assurance and control of banked cells and tissues; preservation and sterilization methods; clinical applications of banked cells and tissues; standards of practice in procurement, processing, storage and distribution; and ethical and medico-legal issues.
