Polymer Science & Technology aims to disseminate research that advances polymer knowledge and bridges the gap between polymer research and the sustainable solutions our society urgently needs. We are building a community-driven platform that values both the depth of academic rigor and the breadth of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Polymer Science is published since 1959 under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The journal (Series A, B, C) presents original papers and reviews covering all fundamental aspects of macromolecular science. Contributions should be of marked novelty and interest for a broad readership. Articles may be written in English or Russian regardless of country and nationality of authors. Articles in Russian are published simultaneously in the Russian version and as a translation in the English version. All manuscripts are peer reviewed. Series A includes experimental and theoretical papers and reviews devoted to physicochemical studies of the structure and properties of polymers (12 issues a year).

The Journal publishes virtually useful engineering developments, which are related to the preparation and application of glues, compounds, sealing materials, and binding agents. The Journal publishes both theoretical and applied articles. The papers on the adhesion theory, ways of prediction of the strength of adhesive joints, methods of controlling their properties, synthesis, and methods of structural of calculations of glued joints and constructions are published in the Journal.Journal published mainly papers of the applied character. In addition, the Journal publishes original articles with the new scientific results, analytical reviews of the modern state of the field. Polymer Science, Series D includes papers from Russian journal Klei. Germetiki. Tekhnologii published since 2004.

Polymer Testing provides a forum for developments in the testing of polymers and polymeric products and is hence of interest to those concerned with testing rubbers and plastics in research, in production and in connection with the specification and purchase of products.The journal covers all branches and aspects of testing, including new apparatus, new techniques and standards, together with their application to quality assurance and product development. The accent is on testing so that statistical experiment design and the relevance of methods in generating design data are covered; papers which report measured data of value to designers and technologists are also welcome.The scope of the journal extends to all rubbers and plastics, including cellular materials, composites and polymeric based adhesives. All types of test, physical and chemical, are included from those on the basic polymer to the testing of products. There is equal concern with tests used in research and tests used every day in the factory.Despite the range of materials, products and type of test, there is a common bond between workers involved in, or concerned with, the testing of rubbers and plastics. Polymer Testing provides a forum for publication of their work and discussion of matters of mutual interest which are not given full attention in other polymer technology journals.

The journal Polymer-Plastics Technology and Engineering will provide a forum for the prompt publication of peer-reviewed, English language articles such as state-of-the-art reviews, full research papers, reports, notes/communications, and letters on all aspects of polymer and plastics technology that are industrial, semi-commercial, and/or research oriented. Some examples of the topics covered are specialty polymers (functional polymers, liquid crystalline polymers, conducting polymers, thermally stable polymers, and photoactive polymers), engineering polymers (polymer composites, polymer blends, fiber forming polymers, polymer membranes, preceramics, and reactive processing), biomaterials (bio-polymers, biodegradable polymers, biomedical plastics), applications of polymers (construction plastics materials, electronics and communications, leather and allied areas, surface coatings, packaging, and automobile), and other areas (non-solution based polymerization processes, biodegradable plastics, environmentally friendly polymers, recycling of plastics, advanced materials, polymer plastics degradation and stabilization, natural, synthetic and graft polymers/copolymers, macromolecular metal complexes, catalysts for producing ultranattormolecular weight distribution polymers, structure property relations, reactor design and catalyst technology for compositional control of polymers, advanced manufacturing techniques and equipment, plastics processing, testing and characterization, analytical tools for characterizing molecular properties and other timely subjects). Polymers (ISSN 2073-4360) is an international, open access journal of polymer science. It publishes research papers, short communications and review papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, there is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Polymers provides an interdisciplinary forum for publishing papers which advance the fields of (i) polymerization methods, (ii) theory, simulation, and modeling, (iii) understanding of new physical phenomena, (iv) advances in characterization techniques, and (v) harnessing of self-assembly and biological strategies for producing complex multifunctional structures.

POLYMERS FOR ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES is published in response to recent significant changes in the patterns of materials research and development. Worldwide attention has been focused on the critical importance of materials in the creation of new devices and systems. It is now recognized that materials are often the limiting factor in bringing a new technical concept to fruition and that polymers are often the materials of choice in these demanding applications. A significant portion of the polymer research ongoing in the world is directly or indirectly related to the solution of complex, interdisciplinary problems whose successful resolution is necessary for achievement of broad system objectives.

The Journal publishes papers dealing with new ideas and developments in the science and technology of polymers with functional groups that provide specific chemical reactivity or physico-chemical behaviour. The scope covers organic and inorganic functional polymers, acting as reagents, catalysts, carriers of protecting groups, templates, ion-exchangers, selective sorbents, chelating agents, supports for enzymes and cells, and the like. It also includes reactive cross-linkable prepolymers, degradable or bioactive polymers, polymer resists, conducting polymers, and film-forming polymers.Contributions have to present thorough molecular and material characterisation data, and may deal with the synthesis of the above polymers or with their applications in organic synthesis, catalysis, water or effluent treatment, separations, recovery, lithography, microelectronics, information storage, energy conversion, diagnostics, drug delivery, coating and encapsulation, and adhesion.The Journal addresses two main audiences: those engaged in the synthesis of new materials and the development of novel techniques, and those concerned with technology and practical applications in the laboratory or plant. The Journal encourages, and serves as a forum for, the dialogue between these two groups.Papers on a broad spectrum of topics are encouraged. Emphasis is on work at the frontiers of science or technology and furthering the interaction between researcher and practical engineer, rather than on details of theory or application. Full-length papers and review articles will be considered. However, authors intending to write a review should contact an Editor first. Uninvited reviews will not be considered. All material submitted must be original, that is it may not have been submitted elsewhere for publication.Lack of originality, insufficient molecular characterisation, poor comparison with the current state of literature and with the authors' own production are, individually, sufficient reasons for rejection.
