The journal publishes original reports of theoretical and methodological nature in the fields of geology, geophysics, and geochemistry, which contain data on composition and structure of the Earth's crust and mantle, describes processes of formation and general regularities of commercial mineral occurrences, investigations on development and application of geological-geophysical methods for their revealing. As to works of regional nature, accelerated publication are available for original papers on a variety of problems of comparative geology taking into account specific character of Siberia, adjacent Asian countries and water areas. Founded in 1982, the Russian Journal of Pacific Geology highlights problems of Earth sciences covering a vast region of the Pacific Ocean, marginal seas, and continental framing. The Asian-Pacific represents a unique junction of oceanic and continental plates, and distinctive mineral resources are: tin, gold, platinum, and oil and gas on the shelf. The Pacific Fire Ring of active volcanoes is the most hazardous part of the planet with high seismic activity and tsunami waves. The range of topics covered is diverse: paleontology and stratigraphy, geology of ore deposits, seismology and seismotectonics, geophysics and geodynamics, magmatism and metamorphism, geochemistry, petrology and geochronology, mineralogy and petrography, geomorphology and tectonics, geology of the seas and oceans floor, sedimentology, oil and gas geology, and more. The peer-reviewed journal also publishes critical notes and comments, reviews, chronicles of major events in scientific life, and bibliography.

Scottish Journal of Geology acts as the focus for papers on all aspects of Scottish geology and geomorphology, and its contiguous areas, including the surrounding seas.

Geological Correlation Series is published by the Institute of Geological Correlation (INSUGEO) CONICET / Faculty of Natural Sciences and Miguel Lillo Institute of the National University of Tucuman. Publishes original scientific papers that deal with all specialties in geological and paleontological subjects. Preferably, each volume will include work on a unified same subject or theme. The Geological Correlation is publised Series by the Institute of Geological Correlation (CONICET - National University of Tucumán) and the original Publishes articles on geology and paleontology. Each volume will unify preferently scientifc papers of a common subject or theme.

Stratigraphy (ISSN 1547-139X) is published online four times a year with optional printed copies. Subject area rantges across the the entire range of stratigraphic disciplines, with emphasis on applications of micropaleontology. Stratigraphy is the journal of record for the North American Commission on Stratigraphic Nomenclature (NACSN).

Stratigraphy and Geological Correlation (Stratigrafiya, Geologicheskaya Korrelyatsiya) is unique in offering comprehensive coverage of the fundamental and applied aspects of stratigraphy and the correlation of geological events and processes in time and space. Articles are based on the results of multidisciplinary research, and are directed toward researchers, university professors, students, and geologists interested in understanding stratigraphy and the chronological features of the world´s geological record.

The Swiss Journal of Geosciences is an international fully Open Access peer-reviewed journal and publishes original research and review articles, with a particular focus on the evolution of the Tethys realm and the Alpine/Himalayan orogen. By consolidating the former Eclogae Geologicae Helvetiae and Swiss Bulletin of Mineralogy and Petrology, this international journal covers all disciplines of the solid Earth Sciences, including their practical applications.

The journal gives preference to articles that are of wide interest to the international research community, while at the same time recognising the importance of documenting high-quality geoscientific data in a regional context, including the occasional publication of maps.

The Swiss Journal of Geosciences has editorial waivers available for outstanding contributions and review articles from researchers who lack funding for fully OA publication. Members of the Swiss Geological Society benefit from a reduced APC fee of EUR 800.

Terra Nova publishes short, innovative and provocative papers of interest to a wide readership and covering the broadest spectrum of the Solid Earth and Planetary Sciences.
