ournal of Iberian Geology will acknowledge for publication of original papers dealing with different aspects of Earth Sciences, mainly concerned with Geology of the Iberian Peninsula and surrounding areas. The Journal also accepts collections of selected original papers that will be published as edited monographic volumes. Potential editors of monographic volumes should contact with the editors-in-chief for further information before preparing any documentation.

The journal, which is published nine times a year, encompasses the entire range of metamorphic studies, from the scale of the individual crystal to that of lithospheric plates, including regional studies of metamorphic terranes, modelling of metamorphic processes, microstructural and deformation studies in relation to metamorphism, geochronology and geochemistry in metamorphic systems, the experimental study of metamorphic reactions, properties of metamorphic minerals and rocks and the economic aspects of metamorphic terranes.

The Journal of Mining Science publishes papers on geomechanics and information geoscience, creation of resource-saving underground and open-pit mining technologies, strength and stability of mine workings, investigation into the wave processes in rock mass and flow of hydrocarbons in the strata, mineral dressing, mining machine science, and ventilation systems in underground workings. Journal of Mining Science, covers all areas of mining engineering, including papers on the mechanical properties, pressure distribution, brittleness, drillability, and blast behavior of rock in mines, new drilling machinery, techniques of ventilation, and more. The Journal of Mining Science is a translation of the peer reviewed journal Fiziko-Tekhnicheskie Problemy Razrabotki Poleznykh Iskopaemykh, a publication of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk, Russia.

The Journal of Mountain Science, started in 2004, is an international English-language journal on mountain sciences. The JMS is supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), sponsored by the Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, CAS, published by Science Press China, and distributed by Springer exclusively throughout the world (excluding Mainland China). The United Nations University (UNU) takes part in the editorial work and supports subscriptions for institutions in developing and transition countries. The Editorial Board members and reviewers are invited from different countries and regions in the world, and the JMS solicits contributions from and is distributed throughout the world. The JMS is a bimonthly journal with 6 issues a year. JMS publishes research and technical papers on mountain environment, mountain ecology, mountain hazards, mountain resources and mountain development. The JMS accepts both individual and organizational contributions.

Journal of Petroleum Geology is a quarterly journal devoted to the geology of oil and natural gas. Editorial preference is given to original papers on oilfield regions of the world outside North America and on topics of general application in petroleum exploration and development operations, including geochemical and geophysical studies, basin modelling and reservoir evaluation.

The Journal of Sedimentary Research publishes the most recent advances in basic research in the study of sediments. Research papers in this international journal are concerned with both ancient and modern sediments. Areas of specialty include petrology, petrography, diagenesis of sedimentary deposits and sediments, processes of sedimentation, characterization of depositional systems and environments, stratigraphy, sedimentary tectonics, sedimentary basin studies, sedimentary geochemistry, sedimentary mineralogy, coal geology, orbital forcing, paleosols, carbonate platforms, hydrocarbon reservoirs, and evaporite sedimentology. First published by SEPM - Society for Sedimentary Geology in 1931, it is the oldest earth science journal dedicated to the field of sedimentology. Now in its 74th year, JSR continues its long tradition of publishing papers that become benchmark contributions to sedimentary geology.

The Journal of South American Earth Sciences provides an international medium for the publication of scientific work concerned with all aspects of the earth sciences in the South American continent and the surrounding oceans. Work is also accepted from the adjacent regions of the Caribbean, Central America and Antarctic Peninsula.Papers must have a regional appeal and should present work of more than local significance. Research papers dealing with the regional geology of South American cratons and mobile belts; economic geology particularly metallogenesis and hydrocarbon genesis; stratigraphy, structure and basin evolution; geophysics and geochemistry; volcanology; tectonics and Quaternary geology are featured.New developments in already established regional projects and new initiatives dealing with the geology of the continent will be summarized and presented on a regular basis. The Journal of Structural Geology publishes on the structural geology of the Earth and other planets and moons, including related contributions in rheology, geophysics, geochemistry, geodynamics, and tectonics. The Journal aims to promote the cause of advanced study and research in all branches of geology connected with India, and to disseminate the findings of geological research in India through the publication.

Lithology and Mineral Resources (Litologiya i poleznye iskopaemye) reviews a wide range of problems related to the formation of sedimentary rocks and ores. Special attention is devoted to comparison of ancient sedimentary rock and ore formation with present-day processes, as the idea of actualism has always constituted one of the bases of the scientific philosophy of lithologists. A major part of the journal is devoted to comparative analysis of sedimentary processes on continents and in oceans, as well as the genetic aspects of the formation of sedimentary and hydrothermal-sedimentary mineral resources. The journal was founded in 1963 by Academician N. M. Strakhov. It will be of interest to lithologists, petrographers, geochemists, mineralogists, ore geologists and metallogenists, as well as to other geologists, ecologists, researchers of experimental and analytical laboratories, and graduate students.

Lithos publishes original research papers on the petrology, geochemistry and petrogenesis of igneous and metamorphic rocks. Papers on mineralogy/mineral physics related to petrology and petrogenetic problems are also welcomed.
