Reproduction publishes Research Highlights, reporting major discoveries and advances, original research articles and topical reviews on the subject of reproductive biology. Its focus is on cellular and molecular biology of reproduction, including the development of gametes and early embryos in all animal species including the human; developmental processes such as cell differentiation, morphogenesis and related regulatory mechanisms in normal and disease models; assisted reproductive technologies in model systems and in a clinical environment2 reproductive endocrinology; reproductive immunology; and reproductive physiology. Emerging topics including cloning, the biology of embryonic stem cells, environmental effects on reproductive potential and health (e.g. obesity), and epigenetic effects on reproductive and developmental processes are encouraged.

Science Translational Medicine promotes human health by providing a forum for communicating the latest research advances from biomedical, translational, and clinical researchers from all established and emerging disciplines relevant to medicine. Skeletal Muscle is a peer-reviewed, open access, online journal that publishes articles investigating molecular mechanisms underlying the biology of skeletal muscle. A wide range of skeletal muscle biology is included: development, metabolism, the regulation of mass and function, aging, degeneration, dystrophy and regeneration. Structure aims to publish papers of exceptional interest in the field of structural biology. The journal strives to be essential reading for structural biologists, as well as biologists and biochemists that are interested in macromolecular structure and function. Structure strongly encourages the submission of manuscripts that present structural and molecular insights into biological function and mechanism. Other reports that address fundamental questions in structural biology, such as structure-based examinations of protein evolution, folding and/or design, will also be considered favorably. We will consider the application of any method, experimental or computational, at high or low resolution, to conduct structural investigations, as long as the method is appropriate for the biological, functional, and mechanistic question(s) being addressed. Likewise, reports describing single molecule analysis of biological mechanisms are welcome.
