IUBMB Life, edited by Angelo Azzi and William J. Whelan, is the flagship journal of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is devoted to the rapid publication of the most novel and significant short articles, reviews and papers in the broadly defined fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and molecular medicine.
Immune System features Open Access original research and reviews reporting on translational and clinical studies encompassing all the field of immunology, bridging clinical with preclinical, and translational investigations. The journal emphasizes evidence-based clinical and laboratory research with statistically valid results that clearly help advancing our knowledge in the field. It specifically welcomes intra and inter disciplinarity Environmental immunology, Immunomics, Immunoterapy and including but not restricted to immune aspects of allergy, disorders of the respiratory tract, skin and autoimmune and neurodegenerative disorders. It encompasses original randomized controlled trials, as well as real-world evidence studies, reviews, systematic reviews, but also well-elaborated clinical cases and case-series could be acceptable. The transfer of information from fundamental research to clinical research and clinical practice is particularly welcome. Contributions and ideas from large segments of the scientific community are welcome to make Immune System a viable, much needed, and up-and-coming forum for current basic and applied immunological research.
mmunology & Cell Biology focuses on the general functioning of the immune system in its broadest sense, with a particular emphasis on its cell biology.Areas that are covered include but are not limited to: * Cellular immunology * Innate and adaptive immunity * Immune responses to pathogens * Tumour immunology * Immunopathology * Immunotherapy * Immunogenetics * Immunological studies in humans and model organisms (including mouse, rat, Drosophila etc)This leading journal has an established international reputation, built on more than 85 years of innovative publishing. The Journal publishes peer-reviewed Original Articles, Short Communications and Outstanding Observation Articles that describe new research results. Outstanding Observation Articles describe striking reproducible observations that have extremely important conceptual implications but do not necessarily include insights into the underlying molecular mechanism. This manuscript category allows publication of extraordinary findings soon after their discovery. Methodological papers or technical reports of high quality will also be considered for publication as Original Articles or Short Communications. Immunology & Cell Biology also publishes Reviews and News and Commentary articles, which provide succinct summaries of, respectively, an area or a specific research advance in immunology. Landmark articles are brief commentaries which highlight the historical significance of a particular piece of research relevant to the journal's scope. Editorial articles are brief comments written by the editor(s) of the journal or by guest editor(s) of Special Features (see below) based on the contents of the current issue or topical subjects that fall within the scope of the journal. Immunology & Cell Biology occasionally publishes Meeting Reports that briefly detail the discussions, presentations and events at a relevant recent meeting.
Founded in 1965, In Vitro Cellular & Developmental Biology - Plant is the only journal devoted solely to worldwide coverage of in vitro biology in plants. Its high-caliber original research and reviews make it required reading for anyone who needs comprehensive coverage of the latest developments and state-of-the-art research in plant cell and tissue culture and biotechnology from around the world. Each year, four issues cover cellular, molecular and developmental biology research using in vitro grown or maintained organs, tissues or cells derived from plants. Two special IAPB issues focus on plant tissue culture, and molecular and cellular aspects of plant biotechnology. The IAPB and SIVB maintain separate, independent editorial review boards for their issues. Coverage extends to a range of topics, including Biotechnology/genetic transformation; Developmental biology/ morphogenesis; Micropropagation; Functional genomics; Molecular farming; Metabolic engineering, and more.
Inflammation presents the latest international advances in experimental and clinical research on the physiology, biochemistry, cell biology, and pharmacology of inflammation. Published items include full-length scientific reports, short definitive articles, and papers from meetings and symposia proceedings. The journal's coverage extends to acute and chronic inflammation; mediators of inflammation; mechanisms of tissue injury and cytotoxicity; pharmacology of inflammation; and clinical studies of inflammation and its modification.
Inflammation Research (IR) publishes peer-reviewed papers on all aspects of inflammation and related fields including histopathology, immunological mechanisms, gene expression, mediators, experimental models, clinical investigations and the effect of drugs. Related fields are broadly defined and include for instance, allergy and asthma, shock, pain, joint damage, skin disease as well as clinical trials of relevant drugs.

Innate Immunity is a highly ranked, peer reviewed scholarly journal, first published as Journal of Endotoxin Research (JER) in 1994 as the official journal of the International Endotoxin Society (IES). Over 10 years of being known as the IES, the society recognised a significant increase in research in innate immunity not related to endotoxins. In response to this the society became the International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society (IEIIS) in 2005.The journal’s coverage has changed in line with the society, and it increasingly publishes articles dealing with innate immunity research not related to endotoxins. A joint decision was made between the publisher and the IEIIS to re-launch the journal in 2008 with the new name Innate Immunity, to reflect the broader range of coverage of the society and in the journal.Publication Charge from July 2010:Innate Immunity has seen a large increase in the number of submitted manuscripts in recent years. In order to publish this important research in a timely manner we will be increasing by 33% the number of pages in each volume. After consultation with the Editorial Board and recent authors, we will cover the increased cost of production by introducing a charge of $230 for all accepted papers. The subscription price will remain at its current level in 2010.IEIIS President Alan Cross adds, "The International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society supports the move to introduce publication fees for Innate Immunity. This change will enable the journal to publish more high quality articles every year, and reduce the publication times for important new research"In rare cases of genuine financial hardship, exemptions may be made at the discretion of the publisher. Experimental Pathology encompasses the use of multidisciplinary scientific techniques to investigate the pathogenesis and progression of pathologic processes. The International Journal of Experimental Pathology - IJEP - publishes papers which afford new and imaginative insights into the basic mechanisms underlying human disease. IJEP publishes papers on in vitro work, animal models, and clinical research. The key objective is to report on work that addresses the common theme of mechanism at a cellular and molecular level. IJEP publishes both original experimental investigations and review articles. Recent themes for review series have covered topics as diverse as 'Viruses and Cancer', 'Granulomatous Diseases', 'Stem cells' and 'Cardiovascular Pathology'. Current status reviews have considered 'Joint cavity formation', Adhesion molecules in liver and gut' and 'New informative animal models'. Experimental Pathology as a discipline will include research into a wide variety of fields of interest. Thus, IJEP has provided a forum for the reporting of studies into:
