JMEWS (Journal of Middle East Women's Studies) is the official publication of the Association for Middle East Womens Studies and is a benefit of membership. Its purpose is to advance the fields of Middle East women's studies, gender studies, and Middle East studies through contributions across disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. JMEWS, which is published three times a year, publishes research informed by transnational feminist studies, cultural studies, modern historical studies, new forms of ethnography, and the emergent intersections of science and philosophy. In recent years, the main force for research into modern Chinese history has been Chinese scholars, who up until this point have not had a Western outlet for their scholarship. The Institute of Modern History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences seeks to re-dress this with its international publication, the Journal of Modern Chinese History: a new platform for Chinese and foreign scholars to exchange ideas directly.Fully refereed and published twice a year, the journal focuses on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The Journal of Modern Jewish Studies is international and interdisciplinary, covering history, social studies, religion, thought, literature and the arts. It encourages work from younger scholars at the start of their academic careers, as well as welcoming contributions from established and senior scholars. The Journal of Modern Periodical Studies will be a peer-reviewed scholarly online journal devoted to the academic study of little magazines of the modern period. Contributions will investigate from a wide variety of angles daily newspapers, weeklies, monthlies, quarterlies, and irregularly published small magazines published from 1880 to 1950 in the English-speaking world. A section will discuss the latest literature and resources (Web, etc.) in the field and related disciplines. Selected book reviews will be included.

The Journal of Moral Philosophy is a peer-reviewed journal of moral, political and legal philosophy with an international focus. It publishes articles in all areas of normative philosophy, including pure and applied ethics, as well as moral, legal, and political theory. Articles exploring non-Western traditions are also welcome. The Journal seeks to promote lively discussions and debates for established academics and the wider community, by publishing articles that avoid unnecessary jargon without sacrificing academic rigour. It encourages contributions from newer members of the philosophical community. The Journal of Moral Philosophy is published four times a year, in January, April, July and October. One issue per year is devoted to a particular theme and each issue will contain articles, discussion pieces, review essays and book reviews.

Journal of Music Teacher Education a peer-reviewed online-only professional development journal published twice a year, offers philosophical, historical, descriptive, or methodological articles related to music teacher education. Some issues offer media reviews and "Perspectives," essays that discuss opinions and viewpoints.

Founded by David Kraehenbuehl at Yale University in 1957, the Journal of Music Theory is the oldest music-theory journal now published in the United States. Originally a publication of the Yale School of Music, where it was officially housed for many years, JMT has always been edited by scholars associated with Yale's Department of Music, a relationship formalized in the last decade with JMT's move to the department. As the journal enters its second half century, the editors look forward to maintaining a tradition of publishing the best peer-reviewed research in the discipline.
