The Year’s Work in Critical and Cultural Theory is a companion volume to The Year’s Work in English Studies. It provides a narrative bibliography of published work, recording significant debates and issues of interest across a broad range of research in the humanities and social sciences. As the fields of critical and cultural studies shift, so the range and scope of the journal alters, and current volumes include chapters on Digital Media, Science and Medicine, and Popular Culture. The Year’s Work in Critical and Cultural Theory functions as a bibliographical tool of practical use to scholars and students alike, as well as a lively collaboration with contemporary debates.

The Year's Work in English Studies is the qualitative narrative bibliographical review of scholarly work on English language and literatures written in English. It is the largest and most comprehensive work of its kind and the oldest evaluative work of literary criticism. The Year’s Work in English Studies does not merely offer annotated or enumerated bibliography entries, but provides expert, critical commentary supplied for every book covered.

Toxicology Research brings together established and emerging areas of toxicology in one journal. Combining chemical and biological studies, the journal aims to advance understanding in all areas of physiological toxicology through the publication of high quality research and review articles. Research which covers interfacial or emerging topics - such as computational and predictive toxicology - is particularly welcome.

Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene is an Official Journal of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene publishes original, peer-reviewed articles, and invited reviews across a broad range of topics relevant to the Society's goals, including: - clinical tropical medicine - infectious diseases - parasitology and entomology - microbiology and virology - epidemiology - chemotherapy - immunology - public health, including social science A key objective is to present the results of research that are broadly intelligible to workers from a range of disciplines. We welcome articles on translational research that may impact directly on clinical and public health practice in developing countries and those describing the application of new technologies in tropical medicine. Non-communicable diseases are of increasing importance in developing countries and we are keen to receive high quality papers in this field. We will invite regular reviews on important, topical or neglected topics and welcome updates on progress with major global partnership programmes. We will also publish peer-reviewed supplements from leading groups of experts. These supplements provide an opportunity for an in-depth review of available knowledge within a particular field and we are particulary suited to the detailed review of field trials of new vaccines and therapies or the progress of major disease control programmes. We publish articles from Fellows of the Society and non-Fellows alike and will continue to fulfil an important role as a vehicle for publication of original scientific papers presented at Society meetings. We also wish to encourage debate through letters to the Editor.

Tree Physiology publishes both technical reviews and original research reports on all aspects of physiology of trees, other woody species, and species of arborescent growth forms (a full list of topics can be found in our Instructions to Authors). Tree Physiology is a refereed journal distributed internationally.Tree Physiology was founded in 1986 by Alfred Burdett and Rozanne Poulson of Heron Publishing. Under their management, the journal grew in both size and reputation to become one of the top-ranking journals in the field. Oxford Journals will continue to build on this solid foundation and ensure wider dissemination and further development of Tree Physiology.Scope of the JournalTree Physiology promotes research in a framework of hierarchically organized systems, measuring insight by the ability to link adjacent layers: thus, investigated tree physiology phenomenon should seek mechanistic explanation in finer-scale phenomena as well as seek significance in larger scale phenomena (Passioura 1979). A phenomenon not linked downscale is merely descriptive; an observation not linked upscale, might be trivial. Physiologists often refer qualitatively to processes at finer or coarser scale than the scale of their observation, and studies formally directed at three, or even two adjacent scales are rare. To emphasize the importance of relating mechanisms to coarser scale function, Tree Physiology will highlight papers doing so particularly well as Feature Papers.Tree Physiology welcomes submissions of manuscripts on research of non-tree woody and arborescent species (shrubs, vines, tree ferns, palms, bamboo). It invites submissions on new methods designed to improve estimates of quantities of structural components and flux of matter, energy and information relevant to the structure and the function of these species.Tree Physiology also welcomes those manuscripts on genomics demonstrating a clear link and relevance to tree physiology.Authors who prepared short, hard-hitting manuscripts are encouraged to submit them as Tree Physiology Letters that will be fast tracked through the review process with the help of the Editorial Review Board.

Twentieth Century British History covers the variety of British history in this century in all its aspects. It links the many different and specialized branches of historical scholarship with work in political science and related disciplines. The journal seeks to transcenc traditional disciplinary boundaries in order to foster the study of patterns of change and continuity across the twentieth century.
