The Journal of Vestibular Research is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes experimental and observational studies, review papers, and theoretical papers based on current knowledge of the vestibular system. Subject of the studie scan include experimental animals, normal humans, and humans with vestibular or other related disorders. Study topics can include the following: * Neurophysiology of balance, including the vestibular, ocular motor, autonomic, and postural control systems * Anatomy of vestibular, vestibulo-ocular, vestibulo-spinal, and vestibulo-autonomic pathways * Vestibular-related human performance in various environments * Psychophysics of spatial orientation * Space and motion sickness * Balance disorders * Vestibular rehabilitation.

The Journal of X-Ray Science and Technology is an international journal designed for the diverse community (biomedical, industrial and academic) of users and developers of novel x-ray imaging techniques. The purpose of the journal is to provide clear and full coverage of new developments and applications in the field. Areas such as x-ray microlithography, x-ray astronomy and medical x-ray imaging as well as new technologies arising from fields traditionally considered unrelated to x rays (semiconductor processing, accelerator technology, ionizing and non-ionizing medical diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, etc.) present opportunities for research that can meet new challenges as they arise. In recent years the Mediterranean has emerged not only as a region of intertwined populations, economies and politics, but also of shared basic foods and dietetic patterns, which have been shown to improve life expectancy and reduce cancer incidence. Meanwhile, pharmaconutrition is spreading in all the clinical fields and new clinical trials have been designed concerning antioxidants, nutrients and non-nutrients derived from vegetables (mainly but not only from the Mediterranean area) that could have a role in the complementary therapy of chronic diseases and cancer. Based on these premises, the Mediterranean Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism aims to publish original scientific papers (reviews, articles and case reports) on metabolism (diabesity and eating disorders), nutrition (epidemiological, basic, clinical and artificial), dietary and nutritional practices and management, and their impact on health from prevention to treatment. In accordance with the usual policy, the journal will also host the proceedings of relevant congresses and shorter notices focused on the original character of the Mediterranean nutritional civilisation. In addition, this journal is intended as a platform of scientific debate and knowledge-sharing among students and clinical practitioners, and between them and the broader scientific community, and last but not least as a tool for promoting and enhancing scientific cooperation.

NeuroRehabilitation is an international journal which emphasizes publication of scientifically based, practical information relevant to all aspects of neurologic rehabilitation. Manuscripts cover the full life span and range of neurological disabilities including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disease, and other neurological disorders. Information is intended for an interdisciplinary audience.Issues of the journal are thematically organized. Themes have focused on specific clinical disorders, types of therapy, and age groups. Proposals for thematic issues and suggestions for issue editors are welcomed. NeuroRehabilitation also publishes original research and book reviews. Letters to the editor, commentaries, and editorials are also welcomed.Readers are encouraged to submit original research which includes experimental investigations or case reports. Reviews of rehabilitation literature will be published as well. Manuscripts are given blind, peer review, and authors are provided with timely, constructive feedback. Publication decisions will be made based on relevance to practice, quality of methodology, and synthesis of findings with existing literature.

This interdisciplinary journal publishes papers relating the plasticity and response of the nervous system to accidental or experimental injuries and their interventions, transplantation, neurodegenerative disorders and experimental strategies to improve regeneration or functional recovery and rehabilitation. Experimental and clinical research papers adopting fresh conceptual approaches are encouraged. The overriding criteria for publication are novelty, significant experimental or clinical relevance and interest to a multidisciplinary audience. Experiments on un-anesthetized animals should conform with the standards for the use of laboratory animals as established by the Institute of Laboratory Animal Resources, US National Academy of Sciences. Experiments in which paralytic agents are used must be justified. Patient identity should be concealed. All manuscripts are sent out for blind peer review to editorial board members or outside reviewers.
